I think the later side effects will be more universal as all bodies get filled with s proteins.
The vaccine cant be that harmful as long as it is optional, unless shedding is a prominent effect. Because otherwise they would just kill off everyone who obeys them. Which would be extremely retarded.

Your comments are premised on the idea that the motives of the powers that rule will appear both sane and intelligent from our perspective. This premise may be wrong.
Well i would be surprised to learn that killing everyone who trusts them and leaving those who dont alive would be done for their benefit or power which is how they appear to be making decisons. If they are trying to reduce the population while getting rid of all the useless followers and low IQ retards... its not how i would like to do it... but technically that would probably qualify as making the world a better place.
