A few months back, 1 customer? That's your sample size? Wtf are you talking about?
From my post do you think you may be able to discern that I may know more about this than you? 5k over sticker for everything right now. As in now. Not a few months ago. Fucking now you dumbass.
I made an account specifically for this. What the fuck are you talking about? Five new vehicles have sold in May and I'm sitting on 350 Cross Treks on the front range in Colorado all 2021's.
You sound like a dramatic cunt.
You sold 5 new vehicles in May with 350 crosstreks in stock? Subaru isn't even a bad product but there is something wrong with your store if you sell 5 new vehicles in a month with 350 of a single model in stock.
What is your total new inventory count for those 5 sales? LOL that's pathetic.
And no, nothing I said was a dramatization. Nothing at all. My brand has around 14 models. 5 of those models are completely sold out and those are our perennial top sellers. The rest are getting close to sold out. So thanks for creating an account and kindly fuck right off.
You must work for Kia.
Give me a crosstrek with the 2.5 AND manual instead of that faggot CVT and I'll buy two.
I'm not seeing it where I live. I went to a car lot recently and the place as empty - no customers. Maybe it varies region to region. Then again, a shit ton of energy workers have lost their rig and mining jobs in my area. Not a very booming economy anymore.
Yes there are less customers. It's because they shop online and get quoted 5k over sticker and never show up. It's not regional, it's global. If there is any dealer in the entire US that can't find a buyer for their vehicles, they could sell them for MSRP to a dealer that will mark them up 5k OVER MSRP and make bank.
There is simply no supply and even scarier is no allocation. We only have 75 vehicles allocated to us for the next 2 months. We have 95 in stock. We sell 1000 vehicles in 2 months. So we are 830 vehicles short. That's why we have to charge more or we will all starve.
This is interesting. My local dealer is desperate to offload and my friend runs a dealership and he's not mentioned anything. Not in the US, so it'll be interesting if things change.
I go between two locals, the small town ain't selling shit, big locals 5k over.
