Most folks at the installation were told to telework and some of us had to be on-site no matter what. A stick, some water, and a dog are all you need for that really. Maybe a snack, though if you eat well before and 8-hour hike will make dinner taste amazing. Some of the best food to be had is after a day spent hiking/biking in the mountains with friends. Get to someone's house and have some beers and bbq.

Virus was one of my few great vacations I ever got. Most were "Yes you have the time but you'll have to take the cash since the place is to busy so they're no approving vacation for anyone" or "we don't offer vacation till after 3 years but the place just rotates the labor every 2 years except above a certain level and they get 10x our salary so sorry your out of luck"

You know what really makes my day? When I am in the passing lane, with a SEMI 18 Wheeler in front of me so I can't go anywhere, and some RETARD in their sports car decides to tailgate me and flash their lights. Where the heck am I going to go, fly over the semi truck? I just love to slow down, then speed up, then slow down, then speed up and just watch them lose their sanity :-)
