Now we got the “I’m going fast enough” assholes clogging the passing lane, the old I’ll turn on my signal when, not before, I’m turning idiots. Don’t get me started on the newborn CDL morons that think they’re still driving a pimped out Honda Civic...

It is humorous to see the number of people on an eight hour trail outfitted for the apocalypse.

Or hiking poles for paved trails.

A stick, some water, and a dog are all you need for that really. Maybe a snack, though if you eat well before and 8-hour hike will make dinner taste amazing. Some of the best food to be had is after a day spent hiking/biking in the mountains with friends. Get to someone's house and have some beers and bbq.

Last 8 hour one I did we only brought water basically. Light snack and a first aid. But this is southwest USA in the summer.
