I can finally mark this one as read. I got notification a few weeks ago from someone in HR, but nothing in writing. Today was the deadline for us to either take the shot, or claim a religious or medical exemption, with failure to do so resulting in unpaid administrative leave. Well, today has come and gone, and so far, no notice that I am either on administrative leave, or instructions to not show up for work tomorrow.
Hang tough, this will end one way or another.
We are unironically in this together. If we all stick to.our gins and stand unwavering it will make waves in the outcomes of companies and businesses. Sink or swim for them. I'm standing strong too. Let me know what happens and I will as well. 1 job of mine accepted the religious exemption and my other one is pending . Both are severely short staffed. Hopefully this works in our favor.
Yep, you're 100% right. If everyone would just stand up and say no, this thing ends right now. But so many of us think "I'm the only one," or they won't stop watching the brainwashing, and they sell their soul for whatever small reprieve they think they'll get by going along with it. This is fugly, but it's by design. Take the shot, you're dead. Don't take the shot, you're dead. Either way, the outcome will be the same for most, and if I'm not going to stand up against them when they threaten my job, I hardly think I'd do the same when they threaten my life. I'm sticking with my decision no matter what, and whatever comes of that I'll deal with when I get there.
I'll keep you posted. Have a good day.
Thank you and you too. There are more of us than we know. At least intuitively. They wouldn't be shilling so hard if there wasn't.
