The point is I'm not forcing anything on you. I'm just providing information about the scripture.
If it's not real, you don't need to worry about God, right? In any case, is it really sooo bad to advise people to instil self-restraint when the thoughts arise, instead of after they've fantasised for weeks on end?
Then I fail to connect this to what I said in the first place. You did not force anything; if anyone did I would not shy from forcing compliance.
Keep providing scripture and don't forget that interpretation can differ.

Interpretation can differ, yes, that's the problem. Because people have different experiences, inclinations and intellectual capacities. So whenever there is any kind of ambiguity, there tends to be a wide array of interpretations. But I try to limit my own bias and understand it from the perspective of the ones who wrote it. The fact that the translations are often incorrect, does not help matters.
