We didn’t come from another star system. The alien beings are actually humans from the future. They’re the Tall Nords, and they’re not friendly. The Grays are a biological slave species they engineered to do their bidding, which is why they’re behind most abduction cases and sometimes the Nords can be seen behind them by the abductee. The Nords in fact gave us the Abrahamic religions to keep us of the scent, and the Jews have been instrumental in keeping us in the dark. In this sense, the Jews were chosen by ‘God’ if you view the beautiful tall blonde/white as angelic or god-like.
It appears the big candidates are Sirius (in leaning this direction), Orion or Zeta Reticuli. They came to Gaia to establish a colony. Anu was sort of an asshole though and Enlil didn't fall far from the tree. If it wasn't for Enki, we wouldn't be conscious in this state or maybe even "alive" at all. From Enki, all "modern" Man was created, human. The translations aren't accurate though. We weren't "created in God's image." it should be more like "with God-like attributes."
Enki was "The Serpent" in the Garden, the first colony. He got booted (along with his followers/"human pets", who he cared for dearly) for insurrection (teaching the play things Knowledge). The worker golems in use in the colony were also growing weary and suspicious. Enki communicated Anu wasn't really "God" but just an asshole that was using/farming the golems like crops. Thanks to Enki, they were animated/(ill)luminated, touched by the God(s) and ordained keepers of this plane(t).
Anu eventually got annoyed and fucked off, but Enlil and Enki stayed behind. They're still here, still clashing. If we don't shape up, it might be time to learn to swim... once again. Enki probably didn't want to do it last time, but he knew it had to be done.

No. There were hominids here (example, Cro-Magnon [which may also have been manipulated]). Our genetics were spliced and manipulated with insertion of some of their own genetics. This created Caucasians.
Our genetics show that this type of manipulation occurred. This is why almost all inventions are from whites. Classically dubbed, "the divine spark", or, "spark of the divine."
Adam was their first successful creation. They then engineered Eve from Adam to ensure the desired genetic compatibility.
This is why in the bible Noah is picked. As his lineage is of pure Adamic ancestry. Which brings us to your BSG reference; Adama (Adam). BSG is largely built around Mormon teachings. Post-flood we re-emerged from the caucuses mountains. Which is why we are called Caucasian or Caucasoid.
