There seem to be so many "miraculous" stories out there of people who've defied the medical industry and recovered from serious conditions only to not be believed down the track. I was wondering if there are people here on poal who can share their own medical remedies that have worked for them.

This is amazing. When I was a kid my mum and grandma would put iodine on everything. Have a cut? Iodine. Have a rash? Iodine. Have a bruise? Iodine. It's a much overlooked wonder.
