There seem to be so many "miraculous" stories out there of people who've defied the medical industry and recovered from serious conditions only to not be believed down the track. I was wondering if there are people here on poal who can share their own medical remedies that have worked for them.

My thyroid is 7cm long on one side and 5 on the other. But it functions fine. I was told to just get it cut out and take a pill for the rest of my life. Haven't been back to that doctor.

The majority of them Google your symptoms and then prescribe something. That same majority will not take a chance on anything alternative. It's rare to find one who even studies their specialty after school is over.

Good on you for figuring out your own situation. If I could find a way to naturally shrink a goiter, I'd be all over it.
