Actually I'm using pop_os and I really like it. Previously Manjaro was my goto but I did not have the same luck getting games to run. Today you want an Ubuntu based distro if you're going to game.
Ubuntu is basically the normie tier Linux distro. The gaming specific distros are the way to go. Pop!_OS is the best in an all-in-one package focused on gaming but still perfectly capable of being an everyday PC.
"Pop!_OS is the best in an all-in-one package focused on gaming" This will be news to System 76.
Um, no, since that's what the plan was. It has the best compatibility layer software installed by default, same with the most popular game managers, graphics switching to either extend battery life or get best performance, and specialized install ISOs for Intel, AMD, and Nvidia. Basically the only way you could be more gaming focused is with Steam OS.
