What exactly is Trump going to do that's ANY better than what's currently going on? Is it just misplaced hope and optimism or something? It makes no sense

I agree entirely. Trump ran the country like a business. A lot of people didnt like that, but he did a good job. Its just too bad he didnt completely ruin the WHO...

I doubt if anyone that is super rich and born into wealth thinks the same way as the average working man/woman. I don't like Donald Trump necessarily but I think he was overall a good president for this very f* up country. I also think he learned that politicians are a different level of scum than rich business men.
