Today's school shooting in Texas...just another Tuesday. War in Ukraine. I know the leaders in the US will do something to make the situation worse but I don't care. Election in November is going to be rigged to the git. Don't care anymore.

I am supposed to be angry and outraged and want to do my part to help fix this but I am not. It's like I expect the next day to be worse than the last and I just don't care anymore. How do you get angry, concerned or even muster up the energy to care when the country isn't worth saving?

Desensitization happens w/ too much of a thing. Just do something else is the best advice I have, reading politics and news will depress the shit outta me if I do it too much. Now I pay less attention when I manage to. I still have that addictive personality shit that keeps me reading news, i can't just stop cold turkey or completely it seems. My anger is too damn high... so I focus on streaming in the evening or another hobby.
