Today's school shooting in Texas...just another Tuesday. War in Ukraine. I know the leaders in the US will do something to make the situation worse but I don't care. Election in November is going to be rigged to the git. Don't care anymore.

I am supposed to be angry and outraged and want to do my part to help fix this but I am not. It's like I expect the next day to be worse than the last and I just don't care anymore. How do you get angry, concerned or even muster up the energy to care when the country isn't worth saving?

Why the Stella Artois? I don't understand the hype around that beer. It's a Belgian beer, I'm Belgian living in Belgium and I tell you, Stella is really nothing special. It's really not the best lager beer you can get. Stella is not bad but it's really not the best you can get. It's been hyped artificially by the mega giant Interbrew to market it as a refined beer but it's just a super commercial lager. In the same branch of commercial beer I would prefer a Maes. Which is also a Interbrew beer but I prefer it if I want a lager. But if I want something a little stronger we have so many brands to choose from, it's hard to pick a favorite. It all depends on the weather, the time of the day, if I'm eating with it, etc. Visit Belgium if you like beer. It's like visiting France or Italy if you like wine. I rarely drink any alcoholic drinks at all tho. Something something troubled past

I'm feeling the same way. They stole the 2020 election and yesterday threw my mailed California ballot in the trash. I didn't request a mailed ballot but the form they handed out in 2020 didn't have an option to refuse the mailing. It's all rigged, it's all pointless. Trump didn't protect the election and it is what it is.

You are doing it right. I realized a while back I was too angry about everything. Now when Biden fucks up again or something terrible happens I just go "meh don't care..." I definitely have a better life now. Its kinda fun when you see leftists dive off a cliff and expect you to feel sorry for them. Desensitization happens w/ too much of a thing. Just do something else is the best advice I have, reading politics and news will depress the shit outta me if I do it too much. Now I pay less attention when I manage to. I still have that addictive personality shit that keeps me reading news, i can't just stop cold turkey or completely it seems. My anger is too damn high... so I focus on streaming in the evening or another hobby.
