It's one manifestation of mass psychosis the world has been going through for the past two years. Car accidents have increased significantly.
Yes, agreed. It's shocking (well, not really considering everything we've seen happen) just how fucking stupid people are.
So many mouth-breathing idiots. Last week a negress ran through a two-way stop. If I had gone through the intersection expecting her to stop I'd have been t-boned badly. Instead I anticipated and slowed down. Car behind me didn't like that, but I didn't feel like getting badly injured or worse.
Similar thing happened a few months ago with some moron running a red light. I had the green arrow for turning left. Since I'm always careful and look both ways even when everyone else should be stopped, I saw the truck coming at 50 mph and waited for him to blow through the intersection.
Almost every time I drive there's at least one moment where I can say I managed to avoid a bad accident. Never been in one and don't plan to be anytime soon.
Imagine you work for the dmv.
Dev'on, somehow passed the written portion of the test. Courtesy to cheating, looking up the answers on his phone, which the workers were afraid to stop even though they saw him do it.
Now hes ready to taken the driving portion.
Assuming its not some nigress or 70 year old libshit giving him the test (who will just automatically pass him), what do you think will happen if they tell him 'no, you failed the driving test.'?
One time when I was about 19 I was rocking out at the stop light of the grocery store plaza and my light turned green. Did a quick glance for pedestrians and proceeded on my left turn. Now, the road I was turning onto was a 50MPH zone. As I'm about to turn I look to my left and see a car grill barreling towards me. I ditch all the controls and dive across to the passenger door handle and pull as hard as I can. I get hit dead center of his grill right where my torso would be. My car goes spinning across the intersection. I seem relatively unharmed aside from being dazed and the adrenaline pumping.
Manage to get out and run over to the other car. It's some dude probably in his 70's. A tad bloody and barely able to communicate. Eventually he gets taken away in an ambulance and I drive my now slightly U-shaped Grand Am back to my apartment a few blocks away. Tires squealing the whole time.
I'm super lucky I had that second or less to react. Otherwise my head would have smacked into the window/B-pillar resulting in brain damage or death. I walked away with the biggest bruise I've ever had on my hip and thigh. Pretty sure it bruised my pelvis.
Damn, glad you managed to survive that.
Saved by not wearing a seatbelt
Also negress likely to be insured.
That and, in certain states, massive influx of turd worlders. And, though I cannot prove it, I think a lot of law enforcement just doesn't give a crap anymore.
You're absolutely right about cops not giving a shit any more. If I was a cop, and George Floyd happened, I would be pretending to do my work while collecting a paycheck. If doing my job can get me locked up for 20 years I sure as hell not going to risk it.
We need to figure out a way to get them hired out of those areas. Not because I think they should be rewarded in any way. Because I want to draw them away so we can hasten the collapse in Blue areas. Remove even the appearance of the cities having law enforcement.
It started with COVID. I never changed my routine and the traffic got very light in early 2020 (I saved dashcam clips at rush hour with traffic that looked like a Sunday). When people started getting back out they were running red lights, speeding, etc. There was the whole push to reduce policing, and they know it has happened so they have little change of getting a ticket. Over a year or so traffic has gotten worse than it was before COVID. I think it's people who gave up working and thus have more time to go shopping all day long. Price inflation has coincided with this.
