This is what pisses me off about "Law and Order" and the fifteen other cop and medical shows every boomer watches. The low IQ boomers (most of them) literally think it's the news. They (the showrunners) know this and capitalize on it.

Good point. Like how people ask the cops to "analyze the DNA" as if it's CSI, and the cops just laughing in their face.

That is funny but it's worse than that. They've convinced a generation that using your fifth amendment right or asking for a lawyer means your guilty, that DNA and fingerprinting are infallible and that you can "zoom and enhance" pictures, which the prosecution literally tried to use in the Rittenhouse case.

Luckily the judge was tech savvy enough to call them on it but I'm sure many other people weren't so lucky and went to prison wrongly because of the misinformation on those shows.

Doesn't help when the defense has grainy 40dpi photos and the cops have 8k Hi res picts from every angle including shots from multiple drones they fail to mention.
