Vinyl gloves havent been a thing for ages. Almost everyone switched to nitrile.
I wore nitrile as a teenager cleaning windows. They weren't required, but they kept your skin & nails from being mangled by soap/methanol/water/dirt so most people wore them. They're some of the least bothersome PPE I've ever worn.
I still keep a bunch on hand for remodeling projects to protect my hands from blisters.
