Looking for a decent program to perform this task. Doesn't hurt if it's free but I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for exceptional software. Single installation is all that's required.

I feel finding good tools has become harder since the web is littered with six million dubious "Software Test" sites, which are just sponsored content and the plague of AI generated content.

is available in the standard Ubuntu repositories, so it’s probably legitimate. You can download it for Windows or Mac OS.

I haven’t used it, but reading through its docs it’s better than I expected. It can check for duplicate filenames, duplicate file contents, and even similar images.

Thanks! Bonus points for multi platform OSS. Might get around to trying it out tomorrow, today didn't quite pan out work wise.
