I looked up "daily sunscreen" after and every fucking dermatology skin care foundation for fuckwits under the sun is hailing sunscreen for daily use as key to help prevent premature aging and avoiding skin cancers and I'm just honestly at a loss for what is real and what's not.

I've heard so many bad things about that shit this side of the isle but over there these fuckers are lapping it over themselves daily and from what she tells me she's been doing it since her teens as part of her daily skincare routine (she's late twenties now) and honestly she looks fine and dandy.

I don't get it.

I don't buy that the sun is bad for us. I think sun screen use is what causes cancer.

There are good natural sunscreen products out there. Do a bit of research on that topic and you will find info.

The store bought garbage is toxic.

We NEED vitamin D for hundreds of processes in our bodies. It is goy slop food, high carbs, high sugar, toxins in food and shit we put on our skin that causes problems, not the sun. Yes you can get burnt by being in it too long if you haven't built up a tolerance to it, but at least 30 mins or so of direct sunlight is needed daily.

She's thinks she's being smart, but perhaps been suckered in by marketing a touch. A fren worked in the Ag industry, and spent way too much time walking fields throughout his career. He wore long sleeves and a hat, but is now getting shit burned/carved off his face, hands, neck - parts that weren't always covered. He wishes now that he'd doused himself in sunscreen heavily back in those days. Cover up first, then apply the potentially carcinogenic shit if you feel you must.

If you work in the sun, probably makes good sense to proactively protect yourself. If you're purposely suntanning, it probably makes good sense too - but you're an absolute fucking idiot for sun worshipping. Guarantee you there is nobody who makes it to age 60 and says: "Gee I wish I had spent a lot more time out in the sun without protecting my skin back in my youth".

TLDR: Sunscreen is a necessary evil if you have unavoidable and sustained sun exposure.

Use the mineral zinc oxide shit, way better than the carcinogenic shit. Plus its method of operation is to reflect the energy rather than convert it to heat mzo you stay cooler.

Yep - good shit! Used to be THE heavy hitter for ears and noses. Bet they've got better preparations of it now than they did 50 years ago too.

In one sense, it's a dual purpose lotion, but there is the question of 'is the medicine worse than the disease'.

It depends on location perhaps. Some people also spend too much time indoors and burn up the first real sunny days of the year. 15 minutes outside a day should cover the basic tanning respsonse.

The fact that white people can be easily burned by the sun is proof that we are not of this earth...

At one point, in Australia, it was legislated that you must put sunscreen on your kids when they went outside.

Natural low spf suncreens these days aren't cancerous, if you avoid the cheap shit.

Skin is the biggest organ, the ultraviolet radiation degrades your skin and damages your telomeres aging your skin, cells will share spare telomeres meaning skin damage ages your whole body protecting your skin from the sun is really important.

There's an alternative surfers use to protect their skin but I don't know the name. It's non toxic, completely harmless, protects more than most of the other products and kind of paints you white.
