Blue Dawn is pretty much the only corporate product I have a true brand loyalty to. I'm sure we will find out that the PEI-14 PEG-24/PPG-16 copolymers aren't great for you, but the shit really does a number on greasy pans, and it is pretty good for washing hats, too.

Similarly the dawn power wash stuff is insane. Spray it on and shit just wipes right off. Like you said - it's probably fucking liquid cancer, but I absolutely despise washing dishes so anyy that makes it easier is fine by me.

I used to be a devotee of Red Wing boots when I was in the trades. It's been a long time so I don't know if the quality has held up. Remo drum heads were always a good purchase.

Red Wing depends on the model, you gotta research where they're made (not all in the US now, IIRC).

The original WD-40 - penetrating oil, lubricant, degreaser and miniature flame thrower in a can. Their nozzle extender always fits and stays put too. No need for another. Been buying it for over 40 years.

What is it best at?

It's especially great at incinerating noisy crickets in the basement of the shithole house you and your roommate rented - particularly when their noise wakes you at 3AM. BIC lighters, cans of WD-40 and it was so on.

Surprised we didn't burn it to the ground. It's the only shit hole of my college days that is still standing, and ironically the one that needed bulldozing the most. Students still rent it.

Magic Eraser. It's like 0000 steel but doesn't leave marks or peel paint, or leave scratches on most stuff.

Reload Wrap. It's a bit of Velcro with a clip attached to it. Wrap it around your spare mags and it'll stay upright in your pocket but out of view. It's a great cheap product that just works.

Kinda cliche and the guy is super Trumpy and all but MyPillow really is great. It's like less than $20 and honestly way better than whatever you've got now.

I loved mine when it originally came out but the quality and comfort has gone WAY downhill since then. I don't really like them anymore.

My friend swears by their slippers though.
