I don't even know why people eat them at all. They always make me feel like crap for a couple of hours if I eat one so I just gave them up like 6+ years ago.
Meh, a cake donut with morning coffee is good stuff
You do you, I just can't handle it. I used to have something like that a long time ago but it just doesn't sit well with me and I feel like crap for at least half of the day. In my case it is just not worth it.
I wish I could have that coffee though. Most of it is too acidic for me now so I tend to drink tea to get my caffeine but damn do I miss a good cup of coffee.
Came here to wonder the same thing. It is always the same slobbish people who waddle into the break room with the same stupid smile convincing themselves that eating something that is over sweetened (along with the goy slop round-up treated wheat and other chemically laden ingredients) is somehow a "good" thing to take away the misery that is their life. They'll eat that shit every day while touting the same bullshit line about "everything in moderation" as their belly flops over their belt.
If I ever get enough land in a proper climate I am going to grow some natural organic wheat (non-GMO) by hand the slow and hard way just to see what the difference is. I bet it is a whole different world and yet we could have it today if we didn't give up and allow this factory farming shit decades ago.
I have great news for you: you can get it now. Search for 'Caputo flour". It is an import from Italy and is grown without glyphosate or any of the other bullshit that is added in here. It is only sold in a couple of stores around me and is always sold out. You may need to speak directly with the purchasing manager and ask them to buy some specifically for you. Ask them about a case discount if you do.
Heads up, they make regular flour and also pizza dough flour, and I think another type too, you want the "chefs flour".
I have never been to Italy, but people swear that cooking with this is like being in Italy because you can just eat wheat normally and not feel like shit after.
