If you do want it to expand, why do you want that, and how would you go about getting new users?

If you do not want the Poal community to expand, why, and how would you keep the userbase at a sustainable level?

I think I would. The sticking point is whether I would be looking for a site like Poal today. I left reddit during the Fat People Hate ban even though I didn't post much there, and only on niche subs anyway. I heard about Voat and migrated there. I moved here when it started. I think it was who told me, but that was so long ago I'm not sure. I also tried Phuks, but never really clicked with them. At this point in my life I don't know whether I'd go looking for a new 'home' after Poal ends.

I'm glad you wrote this up. This was my migration too. Reddit > voat > phuks > poal.

The catalyst isn't there anymore. Now there are mainstream sites like X and Rumble which is where people are more likely to land than looking for a place like poal.

Shout out to Owlchemy who told me about poal.

Was it you who told me about Poal, or Owlchemy?

I'm not sure tbh. We all left phuks about the same time. They were being shit heads over there.
