A lot of the regulars that made Voat good are gone. A sub like the /v/thedinnertable would never take off there now. It's become a hollow shell of what it once was, and Qoomers don't fill the void; in the derth of urbane debate post 2016 emerged an obsessed hivemind. Poal as of now is the closest we'll come to those days on Voat again. I suspect that's why the short-term visitors act so obnoxious and bumptious.
