Putt [used to / still doesn't] give a real fuck about Voat, hard to tell since he and Atko went missing for 9 months back in 2016(?) and then shortly after they "came back", Atko left without saying much. Then it seemed Putt just ghosted and wasn't the same person.
Then in April 2018 Putt was AWOL for like 4.5 days and Voat was completely knocked offline. Atko came out of nowhere and restarted it without being able to contact Putt.
Bottom line, PMYB2 pretty much pissed off Putt because he dared to make a "backup" site, since nobody else would. Remember all the comments "oh we should have a place to regroup???" "where is there to go from here???"
Couple of us were day-one users, because we didn't feel any loyalty to the Voat that had been taken over by SBBH goons, shills whose deep connection and influence over Putt seemed complete and irreversible.
Been a bacon-party every since.
