~99% of the users here came from Voat because they were unhappy with some aspect of the site, but overall liked what it stood for. Coming here felt a lot like the early days of Voat. Everyone knew each other, admins were active, bugs / features were actually addressed and so on. Whenever something bad happened on Voat (like weird new rules, site going down for days), it would end up being a top post here for a few days since most of us came from, and still visited Voat and the content / userbase here was still pretty small. Then the cumboxsockhammer crew (SBBH) decided to take us "down". Trolling, spamming, starting shit here until they got banned. Then went immediately to Voat saying how fucked up we are here. Created anti poal subs, planned brigades and on and on. Since most of us here know about those cum guzzlers, we did not put up with their shit at all and normally called them out or down voted them or applauded their bans. There was some stuff between PMYB2 and putt, but 99% of the beef was sbbh niggers coming here and trying to start shit then posting about it on voat.
