These seems like a fair assessment. I see it quite similar. I was lurking for years & seeing it as the best place for real news. Once real researchers & breakthroughs started so did the shilling & infighting. It has shown me that soooo many people are awake to the long nose tribe that even the shills can't deflect fast enough now.
