I can spend my assets easily with any number of credit card tools. Only been asked about it one single time in 2 years. I bought airplane tickets. I buy food. Etc. Directly with Blockchain assets swiped from a plastic card in my wallet.
You are correct really. BTC will not be for everyone directly. It will be for a select group of people who take the time to learn how and why to use it. Those people will NEVER face inflation nor asset confiscation. Everyone else will. It's that simple. I come to places like this and try to teach it because I want a future chock-full of Voat-fags who are rich and powerful. I want people like the people here to be building parallel ssytems to fight against CBDC shit. Everyone with the voat ideals are such a bunch of negative Nancy luddites though that it's not gonna happen.

States can tax bitcoin to death, states can render bitcoin as illegal as crack, states can criminalize bitcoin holders, states can confiscate bitcoin
If bitcoin is ever deemed a threat to national interests, for whatever reason, that's the sort of things you'll get, just like when they confiscated gold. Sure you can cheat, or at least try... Just as you can try to smuggle meth too, sometimes it works, but if you get caught you take decades
Sure... Government has enormous power. So do you think they can do the exact same thing to cash and gold? Could states tax gold to death? Could they make holding gold coins and bullion illegal? Could they criminalize holders? Confiscate it? Does a government making something illegal cause it to be bad (meth) or does that thing have to actually do damage? What you described above is simply the powers of an illegitimate goverment. Those fucks can do the exact same thing with WATER for fucks sake... and they already are doing so! (look at well meters in Cali and see what the punishments are)
Nothing at all that you said applies inherently to BTC. In fact I'm absolutely positive that all of the above is going to happen with one single exception. You mentioned that states can CONFISCATE bitcoin. This is incorrect. They cannot take it by force. They can threaten and torture the holder of the keys but they cannot TAKE it. It is by its very nature unconfiscatable. There has never been an instance of this happening. Not a single time where an outside force took BTC without the knowing or unknowing consent of the key holder. If that were to happen then ALL digital cryptography would also be nullified by the same tool that broke BTC. Will illegitimate governments fight back? You betcha. They are going to literally start WW3 to fight these currencies from emerging as the future unit of account.
Look at what you wrote bro. You are on the side of tyrannical government in this post. You are groveling at the boot heel of a tyrannical and illegitimate government and defending its power and influence over someone who would fight back against it. You are worshiping it.
I took no side, I'm just describing what I see
