I'm sorry, but his mental health or criminal history have nothing to do with the law in Georgia regarding citizen's arrest. It doesn't matter what he might have likely done in the future - we don't get to arrest people for future-crimes. This isn't Minority Report.
The cops could have dealt with Arbery, but the McMichaels could not, and did not legally, do so.
This was a better outcome becomes it criminalizes vigilantism. I explained this in the comment to which you replied.

So when the niggers all start up with their "he wuz a gud boi, dindu nuffin wrong", Poal can prove he was actually a psycho and his mental state led directly to him getting goodified.

I think it's pretty well established that he was a criminal. I don't think even the "mainstream" media is still arguing that he wasn't just another criminal anymore. They've moved on to the Waukesha thing, spinning new lies about that guy.
Thankfully the internet moves so fast that we can counter the false narrative almost as quickly as they can spin it.
