Gruesome Newsome does it again. Allowing people to subdivide their residential home and build high density housing isn't enough destruction of middle class neighborhoods. Plot twist: They already over-regulate building design and construction due to seismic issues. Multistory buildings on small residential lots with minimal footprint will be cost prohibitive. Of course the point may be that they don't want any development/re-development at all.

Nope, they'll siphon taxpayer money to their "consultant" friends through the "SB 2 Planning Grants" the "Infill Infrastructure Grant Program", the "Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Program", and the "Multifamily Housing Program (MHP)" to make it happen at 10x the cost while lining their pockets with kickbacks. California is more corrupt than a third world country.
