Weird. I heard that in New zealand. it is prescription only from the GP, and only for those who are already considered at enhanced risk, ie elderly or those with multiple comorbidities, and must have a confirmed diagnosis of Covid but is also needed to be taken within the first five days of infection and it is only effective for those with mild or moderate Covid. What exactly is the point ....
Remember that Dr Peter McCullough said that in numerous studies conducted around the world by doctors(who didn't give a shit about the insane FDA covid guidelines that say to do nothing until the patients get too sick), said that they reduced severe covid infection(by 80% I think), by treating their patients from early onset of flu/cold-like symptoms, boosting their immune systems with vitamins C+D+Zinc+zinc ionophore. Is plaxovid something new? What's in it?
...& what does this episode say about the general population at large? 80% of us have weakened immune systems. Kinda around the same % of the population that is prediabetic(but unaware of it).
edit: this story is nothing new though. Just a continuation of the silencing of docs who were disregarding FDA guidelines to do nothing about the covid, they were antagonized and demonized from the get go of this FDA covid insanity.
Oh yeah. They have tried to give themselves plausible deniability if and when plaxovid doesn't work by stating it should only b used for mild and moderate cases - therefore if you end up worse and in hospital after beginning the medication - you had severe covid and it's not the medication that didn't work. There is no point to taking this instead of existing C+D+Zinc+Zinc ionophores and other prophylactics (but simply no money in those).
