I've also heard of the Assumption of Mary, but I didn't realize that was the belief she was taken body and soul into heaven. I guess the pope just decided this in the 1950s.

Haha amen to that. To be honest, I’m not sure. I am assuming since they got married once the menstruated she was probably 12 or 13. He had a previous wife and other kids that were adults, so probably 50s-60s. Mary’s cousin Elizabeth and Aaron (St. John the Forerunner’s parents) were in their 80s.

edit I looked it up and some early Church writings put St. Joseph in his 80’s.
