Death comes for all of us. Remember the good times. She lives on in memory and in the better place she is now. My Cassie our family cat was like a family member. We watched her get very old. She was 19 when we had to take her to the vet. Me and my dad were with her when she was euthanized. It was very sad and I cried a bit though it was the right thing to do for her.

Yeah, Tia was a joy. Her life was just too short. I guess she became like a surrogate mother (in her little cat mind) to me and felt like it was her responsibility to bring me food. She did all the other cat things, head butting, ankle rubbing, lap sitting, purring, etc. I think of her often. Even though she has been gone for years, she will never really go away. I guess I will quit weeping for her again soon, although she will never be forgotten.
