It's been weeks since my boy Toby died in my arms. This old Viet Nam Marine has wept every day since his passing. He is near a beloved dog who died many years ago. My usual stoic manner has completely deserted me. At least my other animals are still here to console me. I am just glad that I was able to share time with such a unique animal. I guess I just don't deserve to have something like Toby in my life for any length of time. But he did nothing to deserve such an early death. That's all I've got...
