noted, thanks for the tips, i was wondering how you dodged that oily look. maybe thats how people do it that use butter too

Yeah, you need to mix the coffee and oil so fast they emulsify, otherwise they don't play well together. Stirring with a spoon just doesn't cut it. I have one of those small blenders that also doubles as a bottle, the blender blades doubling as the cap. Works well together. Just gotta watch out for the steam from the coffee building up pressure.

I forgot to mention earlier that I'm also partial to nutmeg and/or cloves in my coffee in the autumn and winter time. Haven't tried allspice or cardamom, personally, but I'm going to try some when the weather gets cooler.
