My favorite mythical animal is the honest jew.

lol, look, I'm here looking for real answers. So, this is really funny to think about, an honest jew doesnt count as a mythical being, because there is no mythology depicting an honest jew. unless you count jesus but then it would also be funny to say jesus is your favorite mythical being

Did you seriously just say that Jesus was a jew (was of the same genetics as those who are referred to as "jews" in modern times)?

...Jesus wasn't of the same genetics as those who had him murdered.

Those who are called "jews" in modern times aren't even "jews" - they subverted that name and stole it.

Jesus being a jew is anti-Christian kike propaganda and it doesn't even make any sense and fit with the rest of their anti-Christian propaganda.

I agree with you, thats why i specifically said "if YOU count him as a jew" i've just spend too long in churches where a majority of the people consider Jesus a jew and the pastor talked about him as a jew.

although, I am not against hearing out NoisySilence, I would like to know about all the subtle nuances. after all, i was raised in churches where people worshiped jews almost as much as they worshiped Jesus.

lol, i even went to a church where someone was giving their testimony and started crying because they were emotionally moved by how close to God jews were, and she was jealous. Makes me physically ill

mythical animal

I'm here looking for real answers

How do you reconcile the cognitive dissonance of saying two things that are polar opposites in a non-ironic manner? Mythical animals aren't real so you cannot possibly get real answers. The answer gave is 100% valid in this context.

i dont know, i thought i was being funny but now it looks like i was being very serious, on a thread about not real, mythical creatures.

Cthulhu

cthulhu is pretty cool, a great tank in the game SMITE.

When lovecraft wrote about him, did he draw inspiration from a real deity or did he make cthulhu up aall by himself? i've considered reading the books, looks like a fun dark read

I chose the gryphon. Half bird, half cat, probably all confused.

In the real world, I choose the wild boar. It's a lean, mean, pork filled machine.

The Flight of the Horse is a damn good book. SciFi/humor. (Larry Niven - 1972) The protagonist is a guy from the future who keeps going back in time to get extinct animals for the retarded kid who is Secretary General of a one world government. He goes to get an ostrich and brings back a baby roc. He goes to get a dog and brings back a werewolf. He goes to get a horse and brings back a unicorn, etc. It was only years later after reading an interview with the author that he explained why. (He never did in the book). The reason Svetz, the main character, keeps bringing back mythical creatures with his time machine is because a time machine is a myth itself. Nice.

Sounds like a book I need to read to my kid :) that sounds like a great read
