Hypothetical: Is a wife who cooks and cleans for everyone held in high enough regard that a hard working bachelor would keep her and her spouse around a while to cook and clean for the household? (lets say the husband was between jobs and just found one after a year)

I imagine the guy would be buying takeout for himself. It could have started as a larger, tighter friendgroup where people were starved of proper attention growing up. Now they provide family like validation on a level they never were exposed to as kids to eachother. Hypothetically

OK this clearly isn't hypothetical. Just say you moved in with a relative, you do all the cooking and cleaning while your husband is between jobs and you want to know if this guy should be grateful. The gratitude should work both ways and you're great for doing all of the household work and if nobody is verbally appreciating you, we appreciate you being the type of person to do it.....hypothetically.
