I have, many times, its why I don't trust fox news. Or CNN. or PBS, or Drudge report or really almost any news agency I try to expose myself to both sides of the spectrum and I encourage others to do the same.
Look this particular thing I'm questioning has nothing to do with politics. My point is there isn't an objective media bias rating site, it doesn't exist, I don't know if it can exist because everyone has a bias.
You have to investigate each claim yourself and decide for yourself. I wish there was a short cut I really do but I haven't found one, if I do I'll be sure to give you a heads up because I'm guessing you'll be able to tell me why its bullshit and I'll continue the search.

You're coming across as pretty muddled, and I have other stuff I need to do.
Now who is being clueless? Come on I'm saying you can't trust some faceless entity to check facts for you. You have to check yourself.
What is guaranteed is that you only have time to fact check a small number of issues yourself, and many people don't have the intellectual faculties to do it anyway. Perhaps the obviously impractical 'you have to do it yourself' stance is convenient for the anti-science conspiracy theory nonsense that people enjoy so much around here.
Fact check sites have competent people collecting info and sources for everyone else, and explaining exactly why they came to a particular conclusion, saving everyone else a lot of time. If your ideology rejects fact checking, maybe it means yours ideology is founded on bullshit.
