Don't remember the lights brand, they are prolly all made in the same factory anyway...the dimmers I think are Leviton. Try a few different dimmers, including the old rotary-style, to get a better understanding.
And play with the dim switch on the light too, it may need to be set at max for the dimmer to work properly. Sometimes you gotta experiment with this stuff to find the right combo of components.
It also may be that that light will not work with a dimmer, because it already has dim presets. In which case, swap it out for one that doesn't have the dim preset switch. Really, that just adds a weak link to the whole setup, since you are using a dimmer switch anyway.

rated for 150w, check the rating on your lites. But LEDs ain't shit, watt-wise.
In any case, buy a few different ones, return the ones that don't work.
