Nah we are just ripping out all the floors and replacing everything. The house is around 100years old and in a bad spot, but the guy grew up in it and wants to save it.

Well sentimental value is really where all value comes from at the end of the day, if its worth it too him then, it means value for you. Seems like a metric fuck ton of work though.
