I’m not so interested in their culture as I am in their fiscal endeavors. The fact that they are breeding and gaining wealth while relying on century old technology is fairly interesting to me.
They don't pay taxes because everything belongs to the church. I'd be a lot wealthier if I didn't give 1/3 of my money away and had a community of support.
I was more referring to how the males enter the workforce that a younger age and spend a decade building wealth while the average American spends that decade in schooling or doing drugs.
That too. They generally don't do higher education and concentrate on what we'd call trades. But they don't build wealth for personal gain, again, it all belongs to the church and how it's spent is determined by the elders of the order. Every order is different in how they act.
