Bitcoin is used for real transactions, not because of anonymity, but because there are no alternatives. There is a tendency to cut banks from SWIFT, and banks and payment processors cancel wrongthinkers. For example, to pay for a Gab "pro" account from a foreign country, Bitcoin is the only option left.
There are only two possible solutions: 1. Create an alternative system of banks and payment processors, maybe connected to the Russian SWIFT alternative instead of SWIFT, and using the Russian Mir cards instead of Visa; 2. create a cryptocurrency ecosystem. Or both.
