I used to be a raw vegan. If you don't mind my chiming in.
What is a raw vegan?
Don't cook the food at all.
Idea behind it is that cooking takes away a lot of nutrients. So no cooking = equals more nutrients absorbed

Probably the only vegan here period. And nah that's fine, you can ask here
Cool.
What made you become vegan? Was it a gradual process or an event?
I was fat for most of my life. I eventually lost the weight. I didn't want to get fat again, so I thought "A vegan diet is very restrictive, so there's no way I'll get fat if I eat vegan."
Now I do it for the animals, health, and environment, in that order.
Hmm. Interesting. Most vegetarians I know (I don't personally know any vegans) started out by being exposed to it by other vegetarians.
What is your typical daily food intake like?
