My test day was 24 pushups, so they started me on this:

I gotta say, I know I'm pushing it a little because I maxed myself yesterday, but this was a tough progression. Definitely had to psych myself up a little before the last set and play some music to get through it. I finished out my last set with 17 exactly (and one negative rep trying to get to 18 lol).

I am going to be sore tomorrow for sure.

I know it. Just rushing it through a little this time to get on the weekday workout schedule.

But maybe it's better to modify the routine a little, because basically it calls for a 4th workout every two weeks where you re-test yourself and maxing out is very stressful. So to have a day of rest on each side of that test set is going to require being on an 8 day cycle every other week. Annoying but I guess I can deal with that.

Nm I just figured it out.

This week is Tues, Thurs, Sat.

Next week is Mon, Wed, Fri.

Re-testing max on Sun.

Back to Tues, Thurs, Fri on the next week.

That works and gives me a days rest between every workout.
