I'm making some fitness goals. I'm approaching middle age and wouldn't say I'm too out of shape. I get lots of cardio in but that's about it. I haven't done situps or push-ups in years. I'm not a fat slob, but I'm the skinniest fatboy you'll ever meet. I'm 6' 165lbs. How many pushups and situps are a realistic goal to reach by spring? Also, anyone else wanna join this goal?

It's not how many, it's how many more than you can do now. Nix the sit ups, pick four exercises something pushing, something pulling for the upper body and lower body. These are your Core Four exercises which you will be improving on.
