Dude, we're on the same page, and your last two sentences were my biggest reason for doubt. For me, I live about 240 miles south of Mt. Baker Washington, and I have seen that mountain from where I live. Not the top, the entire mountain, as well as the land beyond it (Canada). This is where my firsthand experience made me doubt the math. At that distance, according to the math, the TOP of that mountain, which stands at 10,781 feet, should have been hidden by over 27,619 feet of "curvature." Now I was on a hill that is at 1600 feet, so I'll take that into account, but even with that subtracted, the top still should have been 13,539 feet below the horizon.
Beyond that, no I don't believe we went to the moon, or that there is anything man made on something called Mars. I have also done the moonlight/sunlight experiment with candles and IR thermometers and seen for myself that the characteristics of those two light sources are completely opposite.
Oh I wasn't arguing with you, merely listing a few points why I personally believe that they are lying. Still unsure of why they are lying and the only thing I can come up with is hiding a divine creator. What other purpose would there be? Just simply to make lots of money on the ruse? IDK ?
Yep, I get it. Sorry if I seemed over the top, or like i was trying to convince you, this one, whether true or not, really gets me going. And it's for what you said: People have zero objective proof, yet the accept what they've been told. Maybe that's what makes me a nut, but I simply can't accept things just because somebody, or everybody, says so, and when the math doesn't work, it really makes me question the validity of their arguments.
Question everything, the truth will always survive.
Globe-earthers will just say: "ThE LIght BeNdS wiTH tHE curVATURe".
I know. It's always something. Like I said, I'm sort of agnostic about it, but I will believe actual proof. I've been given five senses by my Creator, I think I will be held responsible for what I did or didn't do with those senses one day. "But everybody says so" probably isn't going to be a good argument.
Some one did the math on the lumens the moon produces and the temperature would be fucking insane. I don't have the math but heard someone talking about it and was like wtf!
Next time there is a full moon, with no clouds, hold a high-grade digital thermometer in the moonlight. Then move the device out of the moonlight. Moonlight is colder. Nobody can explain it, but there are many vids online.
Ya I've heard about that shit! I don't need any more rabbit holes but might go for it any ways.. thanks kinda :)
i can explain it. Move out of the moonlight? Meaning move under some sort of cover to that the light doesn't get through. Well when the sun is down the heat from the earth itself gets trapped under whatever cover you went under to escape the moon light.
I haven't heard about that, but that makes sense. I'll have to look that up.
reflecting light makes temperatures insane? wtf?
