If that were the case, landmasses would appear to become blurry as you get farther from them, but they appear to "sink" into the water instead. Also, like it is mentioned in the pic, water will take the shape of its container. So then, what shape does water take when it has no container, and when not subjected to any forces, as if it were suspended mid air or a vaccum?
