On a mainstream map, Argentina to S. Africa is about as far as NYC to Poland. On this flat earth map it's roughly twice as far. Wouldn't someone have noticed it takes ~2x longer than expected? Or conversely that going fom NYC to Poland takes only half the time expected?

Im not claiming this map is completely representational nor am I getting into a debate with the advanced science of aerodynamics without any pictures showcasing what you are referring to.

On a mainstream map NYC to Poland and South Africa to Argentina are both roughly 4500 mile trips. On the flat earth map in OP, South Africa to Argentina is two or three times longer of a trip than NYC to Poland
