I grew up in the american south. Kielbasa was fancy, generally sliced and pan fried or grilled. See no one boiled kielbasa... they boiled hot dergs. Oscar Meyer, nathan's, etc and it was generally done to cook a bunch for multiple people. Poor is poor. Boiling a kielbasa is both horrific and something too fancy for my upbringing.
