People are not talking about Afghanistan much are they? Are they talking about the civilian family he intentionally drone strike? No.

We're talking about a policy that is popular with his base. That policy will be considered unconstitutional and he'll be able to go "oh, shuck, I did my best but those gosh darn GOP Supreme Court nominees are blocking my attempt to save the country!"

I disagree, it has been effective diversion and it's moving the overton window in their direction.
