I truly honestly dont understand the mentality. I would've simply drove past - legit know some zog bot ain't leaving his post during an 'emergency' to chase some random reckless idiot like me. (He might fire off a couple of shots - but i'll already be hitting 40-50 mph by then).
Many still in the mind frame that authority is good and has to be followed. Dire mistake. I too would have left or stopped and challenged their bs. Maybe even just rampage their cars out of the way for others. What they used should have been considered deadly force or deadly coercion. How do they even sleep at night knowing their actions caused innocent lives.
IKr, i find it hard to accept these guys dont understand or connect the dots that what they did led to thousands of innocents dying.
How did all these cops escape the fires ??. Guarantee when they were told to withdraw there was a clear route out of the town - and they were given explicit directions over the radio - that they never passed on to the people.
Knowing the mentality, any cop that feels slight shame guilt or embarrassment will likely now just double down and more quickly take his frustrations out on the poor citizenry for any minor infraction instead of having beef with the superiors..
