During practice time, there should be zero distractions. The time should be devoted exclusively to practice.
Sheesh!
Speaking of which, did you end up buying that guitar?
I didn’t, Time got away from me but the money is still set aside I’m even strongly considering adding another 50 to it so I can get a little bit better start it seems like 200 would increase my options quite a bit
I'd go so far as to suggest maybe setting aside money until you're in the $350 range - if you can do that.
Or... Here... I do this VERY seldom - because I don't want to be responsible if you aren't happy. But...

I recommend either, with a preference for Ibanez (for electrics) but Yamaha is also nice and the amp is probably a bit cleaner.
If your ability to pay increases, I'll find even better deals.
Wow the ibanez is priced really well. I can’t imagine what would make me unhappy with either one with the level of knowledge I have now. Maybe down the line but it seems like as you learn you probably always want a better guitar. Honestly if you think it’s an okay guitar I’ll probably just order it when I get home.
